Wouldn't it be nice.
Sometimes when I think of how nice things would be if there were absolutes, I think it would be nice to fall in love like you imagine. Well I am sure each of us has our own thoughts.
The shining knight to come and save you from the world that you so feel you need to be saved from.
The wonderful person that will join you in all of your endeavors. Never questioning your choices.
The person that supports you, that makes you feel like you are doing things right and makes sure that you have something to eat when you come home from a hard day of work.
I guess the magic of it all is finding the balance between the two. You want to find love by taking care of someone and all you need is to find that special someone who wants to be taken care of. You want to find that special someone that will let you sleep around with whomever you want and they want to do the same. I am sure there is someone for everyone.
So I guess this is my ideal, my perfect circle of imagination when it comes to giving your heart.
I just imagine if you gave 100% to someone else. That every waking moment, every thought, every action was for your other. You didn't worry about eating, you didn't worry about getting yourself things, you didn't worry about making sure you were ok. You gave them everything.
And the skeptics would think, "So how do you make sure you are ok?"
Well that's the ideal part, because ideally the same would be done for you. That they would give you everything. That they would spend their waking moments, their every thought, their every action for you. You never had to worry about eating, about getting yourself things, you didn't worry about making sure you were ok, because they gave you everything.
Just a thought, just my imagination spinning it's wheels. Yet when I think I can't help but feel the warmth of the idea. That if you did that for more, that if you did that for everyone. That if you tried to give your all to everyone. I know it would be impossible to give your all to everyone, but perhaps you tried with all your heart. That you tried to your most passionate end, to give everyone your all. If you were lucky, very lucky, perhaps everyone you met would get 10% of your giving. 10% of you to make sure they were ok. Yet if you were lucky, very lucky, perhaps everyone you met would give you 10%, that the hundreds of people you ran into everyday gave you 10%. That everyone tried and maybe gave 10%. The whole world, caring for you, the whole world giving you 10%.
It's just an ideal, just a thought, just my mind spinning on the wheels of imagination. But I can't help to imagine, that wouldn't that be nice, just 10%.
